Western Sustainability Exchange is working to increase the visibility of sustainable local producers and the business establishments that carry their products.

This program publicizes the story behind the people, products and services involving local food in the area. It links Montana products with Montana restaurants in Big Sky, Bozeman, Cameron, Gallatin Gateway, Laurel, Livingston, Norris, Pine Creek, Pray, Red Lodge and Wilsall.  The Montana Farm to Restaurant Connection:

  • Promotes local restaurants,
  • Promotes local, sustainable Montana producers,
  • Provides economic development by keeping dollars circulating within the local communities,
  • Strengthens our local, sustainable agricultural communities,
  • Educates consumers and diners about locally grown food, and
  • Encourages the consumption of nutritious and healthy foods.
